Palette Knife Workshop

Posted on January 15, 2011 by Carol Steinberg

Boat Reflections, oil on board, 12 x 12

Felt kind of awkward because of all of my experience but I want to learn how to use the knife without re-inventing the wheel. I’d long ago picked up some snobbery about palette knife painting from somewhere. It’s like Thomas Kinkade or something of that nature. Too bad. The knife promises to add a new dimension to my work and I’m looking forward to discovering what that will look like.
