When I take the photo, it makes me go back and change the painting–I notice little things I think could be improved…I did a radish painting many years ago and sold it to a friend…hmmm, I’ll have to go back and compare it.
Oh, well here it is. I think I’ve improved…it’s interesting what I did without looking back to something from 9 years ago. I think I lit those with a spot and they started to wilt. Wonder if he still has this…we aren’t friends any more…you know how that goes…
What beautiful art! I’m so glad I stopped by to take a look at your blog. And, I love the name – Paintings that Open Hearts. When I saw your art, my heart did open. Thanks you for sharing your talents. I’ll be back 🙂
You are always welcome here, Jodi!
Beautiful artwork! It is very relaxing–even the radishes!
Thanks. Does that mean you don’t like radishes, Jo?
Wow, amazing picture. You put the RAD in radish!
I love that, Brett! I’m taking it you do like radishes…lol.
Great painting. I had to take a lot of actual drawing and painting classes in college even though I was a Digital media Art major. I can draw pretty decent, but never got the hang of painting.
You did a great job!
Thanks, Diane. There’s a lot of drawing in painting, but painting has a whole other set of challenges for sure.
I love the addition of the green tile underneath the plate. I’m not a fan of radishes, but I’m a fan of this picture.
Thanks, Liz! They’re prettier than they taste…for sure.
