Here the idea was just the contrast of the palm trees with the snow capped mountains in the distance.
Off the topic, I went to see 56 Up tonight. It’s a documentary about a group of British kids that the filmmaker has followed up on every 7 years for the last 49 years. So interesting to watch them morph from kids to adults to seniors.
Here’s a photo of the roof set up:
About the best painting of the 30/30 today. Love it and your work is really beautiful
Well, I have been admiring your work the whole time–you are definitely one of my favorites–maybe the favorite–so you just made my day!
hahaha, it is so small! Beautiful painting, but from the screen I got a much bigger notion. Your style speaks “big” to me. What is your favorite format? 😀
That’s funny, Stella. I get that about my size too–when I tell people my height they never believe that I’m that short! I’m still deciding about format. I had a preference for big, but now I’m kind of digging small.
Carol, beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
That is funny! 🙂 I too have something like that going on. When people see me after a while, some months or years, they always thing I lost weight!
Well, better that way, huh?
