Another 80 degree day and then we went ice skating…sort of. What was I thinking–that I was still 10? BTW, the rink at Santa Monica–they gave me wet skates (inside), ripped laces, and something that made my right ankle feel like it was broken.
You are blogging about 80 degree days and we barely made it into the low 20’s today. I am envious of your warmth and sunshine!
Yes, it never gets that cold here…and I don’t know if I could handle it any more if it did. I heard Jimmy Kimmel was joking around that it was an emergency here when the temperatures dropped below 55.
I love popping by to see your work, very lovely.
Ice skating–well, you are far braver than I…all I can envision is how hard it would feel when I hit the ice! I still love skiing, but can’t imagine taking to the ice again.
Well, if you hold on tight to the sides that doesn’t happen. It seemed like it would be fun in theory anyway.
I’ve never been to the Los Angeles area and it’s been nearly 20 years since I’ve been in California. I should visit again – it is an amazing type of scenery that just doesn’t exist here in upstate New York. I love palm trees. I could do without the snow.
The only snow we see is in the distant mountains, which is kind of cool to look at anyway. Upstate NY is beautiful–I know, I used to live there.
