Got up at 7 (all right it was more like 8) so I could do this before an event I was going to at 11. And there’s the opening of the Nod to Nouveau and Deco Design show I’m in tonight at Galeria Gitana. Seems like enough to do without painting, but I did it! BTW, it may seem like I like bright colors–and I do, but no less do I like subtle shades of gray–I love painting on gray days as well as sunny ones.
Nicely done, Carol. Good interpretation of a gray day and I love the pink house.
Thanks Fay. I love the pink house too–always want to paint it when I see it from my window.
Very subtle… I love the perspective.
Lou
Thanks Lou!
Love the design and colors in this one, Carol.
I agree with you. I like bright colors too but love painting the neutrals.
Thanks for stopping by Julie!
I love how you bring out the beauty of the gray day.
I love the painting and it’s title. Good luck on your show! Maggie
I love working with gray matter metaphorically! Some “values” are black and white, some “values” are accentuated using vibrant color. Creating a work of art using shades of gray? Priceless!
Yes, and some $ would be good right about now, ha!
Another great painting. I admire how you are committed to getting a painting done a day.
Kim
Thanks Maggie, Kimberly, Donovan, and Melinda!
