This whole project has encouraged me to explore painting situations I had considered too complex to bother with before.  I’m left with a diary of my apartment…I doubt anyone wants them…and I’d sort of hate to part with them anyway…so personally meaningful.  The plant was an attempt at feng shui-ing myself into prosperity–but trust me, it looks better in the painting…the green pillow travelled to India with me.  The futon has been used by some guests, blanket on top was one I used to cover me when I napped in the car as a substitute teacher years ago…canvases stacked in the corner, probably counteracting the plant?
