San Francisco Red Head, 8 x 6, oil, $125
I started sketching this in at the end of the workshop in San Fran…My friend Bie wanted to buy it…but I felt funny asking her for $ after all she’d done, so I still have it. One thing, I thought I’d “finish” it, but I realized that I kind of like the sketchy quality and it captures the feel of a sunny day better than more paint…so that’s that. Sometimes you need to know when to stop…and I’d rather stop early than late.
