So it’s not another bouquet–but the same bouquet from a couple days and paintings ago…except I put an orange cloth on the table and moved them around a bit. As Hokusai, the great Japanese master, said at age 90: “I think I’m starting to get this thing” (okay, it’s a paraphrase and translation). I do like the simple brushstrokes that stay brushstrokes and the simple impressionism of this…the thickness of paint…these are things that seem so easy…but aren’t. BTW, this is so different than the last one…Which do you prefer and why?
Nice work! In comparison, I like the 1st one, only because I love the light blue color and my eyes adjust to it more easily. Truly a treat!
Thanks, Tami! Makes sense to me.
Nice work. Its a really good painting.
Very creative. Love your work!
