So I’m giving everything a little more “space” and wonder if that works better or not. Usually I fill the picture because I’m interested in the negative shapes. I’m still interested in that. In fact, the space between the oil bottle and the vase is what most inspired me to paint this in this way. What do you think? Does it look like there’s too much space around the subject? The pink flower looks like it’s shading the veggies…hence the title.
This is beautiful. I like the negative space and the spacing overall. It is simple and fun. Great name! Thank you for sharing your passion!
I like the space…the placement of the items feels very natural. I love the title and it makes perfect sense now that you mentioned the shading. Great painting. 🙂
