Tomatoes on the Table, oil, 8 x 10, $250
Sometimes the way things look on my kitchen table is inspiration enough. I like the roundness of all these forms, the harmony of the ceramic bowl and mug and the complementarity of the starring veggies. The important thing was to get the perspective right on this. The wrong angle and the picture doesn’t work nearly as well. I wiped several of the first drawings off.
I just want to pick up and eat one of those tomatoes. They look so delicious.
