3 weeks and the roses are barely hanging on…the cup was given to me by a friend who has sadly drifted away… things change and not always the way we’d wish they would…Wanda Coleman, a well known LA poet, died recently at 67 and Sylvia Browne died at 77…I found out about both this weekend–no connection, just random passings…tempest fugit…I’m thinking a lot about the brevity of life lately, symbolized so beautifully by roses…the year seems to be ending no sooner had it begun. Other than that, I love the contrast of the soft pink and gray green, and the texture of paint.
