Pink Roses, Pale Pink Ground, oil, 10 x 8, $250
This was actually painted a week ago. I just found that there are less than a handful of the show roses left…and not sure I’ll get to paint them…I’ll try! Anyway, this became a close up, as you see, compared to the others…I should probably try to get closer still. This pink is so delicate and ethereal, evanescent…as are the roses themselves.
