I have been on a hiatus from painting, posting, etc. The building owner had to replace my carpets and it threw everything into disarray for a month or so. When I attempted to unearth my easel and paints after so long, I found that my easel handle was missing and my panel support holder had sprung a screw and a nut. It was all very disconcerting. I had to resort to all kinds of tricks to calm myself down. They worked. I went to the store to buy some flowers for inspiration and a push. Still, I had a short time left before the sun would leave my porch area…Was I going to paint? I did! The miracle was: I received more attention for this little piece on FB than ever before. Not sure why exactly, but wow–super encouraging to fight the demons that keep me from painting!
