January Art Collage
This January was the first time in the 6 or 7 times I’ve joined the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge that I decided to throw in the towel. There was just too much going on to be able to pull it off without making myself miserable. In the end, I did a lot of art anyway, and the pressure was not what was motivating me, which is a good thing. I was going to try to draw every day too–yeah, that went the way of the painting idea. But I did do some drawings–they’re not all posted here. For me, not all drawings need to be shown. The idea was to draw more regularly, and that was accomplished. February is looking like it may be a difficult month for me too. Maybe by mid March things will start to open up a bit. I really wish I could paint more, but sometimes life really does get in the way. At least, I made a good effort at the start of this new year and look forward to seeing what else I’m able to create in 2017. The car accident continues to require a lot of me, and my face still hurts. Tomorrow I pick up my fake teeth. I wish that was something I would have never had to write, but oh well. For all who offered encouragement, your kindness has meant a lot to me, and hope to continue to connect with you.
Hi Carol
Love the art! I spotted your work early in the challenge, and then remembered your name from a previous challenge. So sorry to hear about your accident, and hoping that your recovery is as painless and speedy as possible.
Thank you–it’s nice to be noticed and remembered, and thanks for the well wishes. I need ’em!
Carol it was so nice to see you in the challenge again. I think you did an awesome job, while also healing and recovering. Sending prayers for a speedy and painless as can be recovery. Congratulations on this wonderful collection š
Thanks for stopping by Sheila. I need another challenge. Life is doing its very best to get in the way! Hope I can get back in the groove before September!
