This is the same location, a new study of yet foggier effects.
This is from the next day. It was foggy and soon to get foggier!
A second attempt and more fog.
This is another painting from that day but down on the beach instead of looking downwards.
I painted this a couple weeks ago. There are 6 more. I haven’t been posting because the injustice and Machiavellian behavior of those now running the art department at LACC continues to boggle my mind and eat into my precious time. This painting at the beach thing took me out of survival mode for a few days.
I painted this about a week ago–after a hiatus of not painting…and the longest, hardest winter in memory. So there are little signs of hope and Spring starting to appear and hence the title. Carnations are so nice…and the bouquet is still paint worthy…but unfortunately I have other pressing things. I will be painting at the beach the next couple of days, so that is even better.
