This is a new building and I love when the sky is darker than the buildings. Practicing gouache on the porch.

    Love how you work your gouache, Carol. And the contrast between sky and building reminds me of the south and the strong light .
    Here we have very hot weather and humidity this summer but no palms at all and no white buildings…

      Thanks for the encouragement, Martine–the gouache is not my most familiar medium. Palms are kind of an LA thing!…and Hawaii. The white building is new. Weather here is so unpredictable…may be very hot this October!
