Flame Tips, Australian Waxflower, oil on canvas, 30 x 24, $1800

So I’ve done 45 small paintings since my last 30 x 24 and felt it was about time! Also, I bought this amazing and strange bouquet at the farmer’s market yesterday and I just could not see how to squeeze it on a small canvas. I’m so glad I didn’t. I love this and it was so fun to do! The flowers are a mix of white Flame Tips and white Australian Waxflower–so exotic! The seller said the mix we put together just said “Spring” to him…and I agree! Do you?
